Growing Up In My Household

There was, of course, mum and dad then my older sister, then me. Bit of a gap, then 2 other sisters and then, at the tail end of 2022, mum had another child.

It really was a case of surrogate mum at times. I guess my older sister, Miya, had it a bit harder - more responsibility - but making sure everyone was ready for school, ready to go out anywhere actually, the whole homework thing as well.

But...

We shared a lot of fun together. There were some tears but many laughs in our household, growing up.

❤️ wow that’s a big family? Thought in earlier post you mentioned that you had four sisters but your mum has been pregnant again? This time not from your dad?

@QuietEd2019 There are 5 of us. There was a gap between us and the new member of the family. If you noticed in the post (or at least I hope I wrote it!) there's my big sis, then me, the next two...and then the newbie.

@JasminD in first post I think I read four sisters and estranged from your mum might have missed the fifth sibling? Older sister, You, two younger sisters possibly twins? Then your mum had another baby?

@QuietEd2019 Mum and dad are together. All of us are of different parentage but same mum. There are 5 of us in total and, yes, me and mum have had a big fallout.

@QuietEd2019 Well, no twins. All of us are single born. Is that the word? Oh, I don't know. Lol! Yes, mum and dad are together. Obviously! Lol! That's ok. Hope it clears things up a bit for you. I really don't understand. It couldn't be any simpler! 😘

@QuietEd2019 Oh dear...so, we are all half siblings! Same mothers, different fathers. We don't know our biological fathers. Never have. But we ALL have the same parental father. So, you could say that our biological fathers were all sperm donors. Yes?
