Realized I probably wasn’t a planned pregnancy

Long story short, I was talking with a friend about what we did during autumn break and I told her that I was visiting my family that live in a more rural area up north from the city where me and my close family (Mom, Dad and brother) live. She asked me why my parents moved from the rural area/how they ended up in the city we now live in, and I explained to her how they moved here together for my mom to get her nursing education, and for my dad to work closer to the border, then stayed because I was born.

I don’t know why it took me so long to realize that it was never my parents’ plan to stay here in the city. And that it maybe even wasn’t a plan to stay together, but did it because I was born. Either way, they love me very much and I am happy to have grown up where I have.
