@sree251 watch IceAge .. and you will learn what family means.... family = those who love you unconditionally and you are the same way with them. NOW you can add parents and children in that manner but to call out who is what is wrong. what if its just 1 parent and 2 kids..is that not a family since its only the mom or dad.

@black4white A mother hen and her chicks comprise a sane family also.
Family, in this topic discussion, is about procreation and wholesome nurturing of offspring.

@sree251 WRONG!!!!!! MY OH MY !!!! if you are one of those types of people then you are just too thick to understand and i am saying that in the nicest way possible.
sounds like you are putting conditions on what makes a family now.....

@black4white I am not putting conditions. I made a statement. Discuss it. Dispute it even. I want to hear what you have to say.

@AbbySvenz Great question, Abby. Childbirth is not a human specialty. Reproduction goes on constantly in nature. I can never forget the blood-curdling screams coming from my sister in the labor room. And yet, no such cries of pain can be heard in my garden where baby rabbits appear year after year. Have you ever heard hens squawk in pain each time they lay an egg? Never. Not even once in all the time I spent at my aunt's chicken farm.

@AbbySvenz Human birth that is painful is the kind we know. And by "we", I mean people living an artificial way of life provided by science in technologically driven towns and cities. There are women whose natural birthing process are painless, women, working in rice fields, who would squat and drop their offspring, clean up, and resume their tasks.

@AbbySvenz The pelvic girdle narrowed when we started walking upright? Where did you read this? You would accept any explanation to make you feel good about your pain and suffering in living an artificial life that go against nature. What about sitting upright at your computer stuffing your head with ideas at school and at work? Then once a week you put on your Nikes and prance around the neighborhood inhaling car exhaust fumes, sit on your yoga mat imbibing more rubbish to make you feel good about yourself. Then there are drugs you ingest, birth control pills you scarfed down as soon as you are old enough to do evil. Painful childbirth? You earned it.

@AbbySvenz Science books. And you believe that women were moving on all fours until they decided to stand up and walked on their hind legs. Well, then it would make sense to compensate for that silly move by reproducing humans outside the womb. Artificial incubators should work great. You can park your eggs at a birthing facility and order your baby at the time of your choosing. Amazon will deliver it right to your doorstep anywhere in the USA.

Science books. Books about the sciences. Written by those who —gasp! — know a few things about that which they’re writing. Much more than you or I do, that’s for certain.
“Decided to”? That’s not exactly how evolution works. Maybe read a book or two about it, and then we can continue this conversation @sree251

@AbbySvenz You don't get to call the shots, Abby. Granted, more girls have been going to college than boys since Betty Friedan and Germaine Greer forced a change on the American cultural landscape. Common sense is outdated and displaced by intellectualism. How evolution works is indeed decided by intellectuals fudging science to create narratives and not scientists probing unknowns. Science books of the kind you read are studied in the west and nowhere else. The rest of the world is focused on technology, the science that drive the economy and put food on the table. I don't need this conversation anymore than I need a hole in my head.
