Is it safe to walk around your neighbourhood at 3:00 in the morning ?

That’s when the teens from an apartment complex about 8 blocks away walk around neighborhoods looking for stuff to steal outta cars, anything they can carry off and sell for $…gotta make some party money. Would be good to carry a baseball bat and an air horn if you do. They like to run away laughing when a car horn goes off. I got two free flashlights because of that, they dropped them next to my car on different days.

@cherokeepatti Exactly, it can be dangerous especially in big cities.

@Nimbus not all that big (population about 130,000 now) but there are also drugged up transients wandering around at night too. Sometimes they drown in shallow water and one time one drowned in a Veteran’s center lake.

@Nimbus This city is not what it used to be. California is buying bus tickets for these people and telling them Oklahoma has better medical benefits than California. So they come here for free and then get transferred to my city, which has so many churches & charities helping the homeless that they don’t want to leave. I never see any transients walking around in nearby cities, they know where the getting is good.
