Am I disobeying my parents if I want to make my own decisions instead of following their advice?

At 27, unless you're a vulnerable adult you no longer have to 'obey' your parents. They should be providing sage guidance ideally you'd willingly seek and follow. If they cannot/do not do that, I wouldn't be willingly seeking their input.
