Parents do you read your kids social media messages and do they know that they do? If so to what age?
Do you wrestle with the morality of it?

i don't have kids, but i'd look and choose very, very carefully on what i choose to intervene. i wouldn't want to thwart their independence or cause them to hide away from me, but the first duty is to protect from harm. the first measure would be to keep them away from it until after age 10 and limit it through a number of measures with more freedom as the age and proof they are mature enough to keep themselves safe.
