I can't say that I was the black sheep as my older and younger sister call me "The Chosen one" as in my parents eyes I could do no wrong.

I never drank, I never did drugs, but I did get in trouble with the friends that my parents did not appreciate.

I think as all 3 of us kids were pretty good kids that I was the black sheep because even after my "friends" were the druggies and the drinkers I still enjoyed being that voice of reason and try to find the good in others even if it ruined my "good guy" status.

I had been in martial arts since I was 7 and when I turned 14 I got into wrestling and that led me into Brazilian Jiu Jitsu.

I retired from active competition in 2014 and am proud to say that my positive outlook has turned my 3 kids into honors students as well as student athletes.

Nothing makes my wife and I prouder than hearing how well behaved our kids are and that we have done an amazing job raising them.

@StevenIzzi Yea I recall my mother reminding me how parents compete with their children when all I wanted was to be seen heard and understood. So of course I rebelled.
