Not that weird it's probably hereditary (even if your mother didn't have it it can be recessive or from your father's side of the family).

I have a sister, she's younger.....she doesn't have endometriosis but, I do. I had to have an ovary removed due to it.....plus I have fibroids.....I take birth control to manage the pain and periods each month. So, I truly understand.

@blackdiamonds Have you been to your gynecologist recently?? Maybe there is something causing it to swell that way.....
blackdiamonds · 36-40, F
@Indy74 No i haven't gone in years

@blackdiamonds I'm checked once a year with a pap.....maybe getting an appointment and seeing if maybe a birth control pill might be able to help control the pain and bloating and such. It's helped me tremendously with the pain and everything in general.

Heard them say on tv today that endometriosis is pretty common, like one in ten have it. I didn’t realize it was that common.
blackdiamonds · 36-40, F

@blackdiamonds in real life I have only known of one woman talk about having it. Maybe others did but hadn’t been diagnosed or didn’t want to talk about it

Jackpot bad genes.. 3 of my family members have hypertriglyceridemia and I was one of them.

My other family members also has it but somewhere borderline.

My family also has breast cancer history. My maternal grandma and my mum died from it.

It could be genetic, environmental or some combination of both.
Is it hereditary perhaps?

Lucky Genes Club! 😂🤣
It tends to be hereditary. Chances are someone in past generations of your family, had similar issues; if not on your maternal side, possibly the women on your father’s side.
