What's something you didn't appreciate about your grandparents when you were young that you appreciated as you got older?

I never knew my grandmothers. Both died of cancer before I was born. I had step grandmothers and I appreciated both of them.

My grandpa died when I was 11 and I miss him still. My grandfather died 10 years ago and I miss him too.

They were all so good to me.
