Tired Little Cassandra...
Been a simply lovely Christmas Day with Matt and my folks.
I think I have ate just too much, and maybe drank a touch too, but it's been a lovely day...
Chestnut stuffing, Roast Turkey, Mash, Roasties, Brussel's, Yorkshire Pud, Carrots, Peas and gravy.....then Christmas Pudding, with Brandy Sauce, to follow.
I was in a bit of a carb coma from all that....
Presents? Ooooh! Simply lovely. Matt got me some Anna Sui Perfume (well, if it's good enough for Carrie Underwood etc...) and some lovely heels - thanks babe. Mum and dad got housey stuff - needed a new Mixer and some new wine glasses - alongside clothes. Same from my T-Girl friends - got a new handbag from one, new dress from another...oh, and bottles of Prosecco.
Then playing Monopoly.....Matt gets quite, erhhh...involved in that!
Thankfully, back home now, feet up, the big guy's made me a cuppa and i'm watching 'Call The Midwife'...
