What would you do if you said your brother's cooking sucked and he started crying?

Let's say your brother, ( 17) made something and it tastes terrible. People at the table say it is bad and he starts looking like he's about to cry- what would you do/ say?

Hug him tell him its okay shhh shh its ok , you try didnt work its okay im not mad . nNow lets get the recipe and start over and i ll help you measure and cook teach him he seems passionate about it .
