I don't appreciate my parents enough.

They had me "dog sit" (basically just spend a week at their really fancy house and make sure the dogs go outside regularly), let me eat all their salmon while I did it, and then my dad gave me $50 for it. He had to fight for me to accept it but he still did. So he gave me $50 to go on vacation.
