A family member close to me is having an operation
Possibly for cancer, we've been talking about a will and life etc. it's what it is. We spoke about my sense of mortality coming from people dying around me in the last 5 years also, one of the reasons for my pressure towards myself.
It was a somewhat morbid discussion but we're both pretty down to earth people so we were just earnest about it. Life changes and ends, and sometimes it doesn't. I think she'll be fine btw but we had to talk about it just in case.
