I got corner time as a kid
Never did time pass more slowly than when I stood in the corner. Each of us had our own corner as kids and we knew every piece of the wallpaper I think! To a child in the corner every minute seems like an hour!

Corner time would have never affected me. I was an introvted child and liked sitting down quietly to imagine stories in my head.
Me and my family grew up laughing at hearing that people used corner as a punishment.
We thought that it was silly and ineffective.
No offense thats just what we used to think.
I guess it will work for some children.
