He’s not in the mood to party
@cherokeepatti You hit the key word there...mood. They make sure they always get their way. Hahaha that's what's so funny about them. They're so moody and independent. I just love cats. I used to have a 30 cats when I lived out in the country and oh boy did I enjoy them. Every morning they would all come running and greet me with hugs and kitty kisses, oh it was Heaven. I love animals anyway and I know you do too. I had the biggest fattest turtle in the backyard you've ever seen in your life. Huge! And I had beautiful possums and skunks and they all got along well. The cats would just sit around in a circle and patiently watch the skunks eat their food. Hahaha it was so funny.

@LadyGrace I draw the line at skunks cause they’ve been known to carry rabies. Possums I tolerate because they will eat venomous snakes
@cherokeepatti oh this was a family and they were huge and so beautiful oh my goodness I couldn't believe it. Oh and I had raccoons too, but I never went outside around them. There was not much I could do and I certainly enjoyed seeing them and their beauty and I didn't want to hurt them. If I thought one was rabbit then I would have had to call Animal Control, but these were all just so sweet.

@LadyGrace The university had so much landscaping, bushes and monkey grass and flower beds. Skunks would hide in that landscaping and have babies. The population was getting out of control. At least one student got sprayed in the mouth when biking home at night after studying at the library, a skunk came into a dorm through the automatic doors following a student. It got scared and started spraying and they had just put down new carpeting…what a mess. I was working at night, and one night saw 3 babies spinning in circles in the rain as I was walking back to the office to clock out. There was a street light so we could see them clearly, they looked like little cartoon characters spinning in circles. They finally started trapping them and taking them miles away and releasing them. They had a policy of not killing wildlife. They only did it because there was an Olympic sports festival on campus where they took up every dorm bed so they didn’t want the guests to get sprayed. But they built up their population again. Not long before I retired I was smelling them around the athletic dorms. They were hiding under the spreading yew bushes.
