Why am I the only one in my family that cares about ancestors from hundred years ago but no one in my family actually cares about uncovering ancestry?

Because a lot of people just don't care about ancestry. the people who were alive hundreds of years ago don't impact me in any way now. I literally don't even know who they are 😂 I care way more about the people I know and interact with now then I care about people who I will literally never meet. I understand the curiosity, but a lot of people simply don't care because it doesn't impact them.

I think looking into ancestry is interesting, but my family doesn't care. I guess it just doesn't impact them at all now, so why would they? I think it's interesting to look into, but I also understand that it has nothing to do with how they live now, so they don't really put too much into it.
