I was in the car with my dad yesterday for his bday and we went out and grabbed something to drink and eat in my car. I was raining last night so the temperature dropped and so he turn on the heat on high. After about 5 minutes I was hit with the overwelming smell of sweaty balls so I turned it off and rolled the windows down. When he asked me why I did that I flat out told him he needed to take a shower because he had it smelling like a locker room in my car and the car air freshner made it smell worse. He was driving so he immediately pulled over, opened my door and got in my face and told me I was an a**hole and that I was probably smelling my own fish box. I told he he had to leave as he we had just restore our relationship as he had been very abusive to me as a child and I knew it was about to be a huge blowout. He told my siblings that I was selfish for being so rude to him on his birthday and that I am subsequently the a**hole and they agree. So here I am again. Am I the a*shole?
No, it's your car, your rules.
No....

But, when the heater in a car is turned on for the first time in the "season"..... the elements heating up tend to create a very strong smell.... Therefore, it is recommended that the heater only be turned on (first time of season) when the windows are rolled down.
