11/04/22 Gramps Funeral

Today was the funeral of my grandpa. There was a 30 minute service at 10:30am. Then lunch and visit. Be at grave site at 2pm. Everyone put a carnation in the hole where is coffin was put. Everyone hugged my grandma. I hugged her 3 times and then looked her and told her to take care. I didn’t cry there were a few times I was going to but I wanted to be strong for grandma. Though I cheated I made myself cry the night before by watching I’m Marley and me. Going to miss you so much gramps Rest In Peace love you always.

(((HUGS))) Seems odd but I actually got the giggles at my grandma's funeral. We were exceptionally close to each other and had the same sense of humor, she would have been giggling too at the absurdity of people all in black looking so grim.
