Have you been asked to be a god parent?

I've realised that with all my cousins none of them have asked me to change a nappy, babysit or even really hold their child.
If they christened them I wasn't asked to be a god parent or anything like that.
I have a half sister and she's christening her son and she hasn't asked me either.

It's weird.

@Mellowgirl I fought for many years to have custody of my own child and it near killed me when he was taken from me years ago. I was asked to be god father to my nieces. My sister is divorced, and I know if anything happened to her, I would be in another long fight for custody with them with their fathers family and I dont have that in me anymore.
Better to go to one of my other brothers i think who dont have children of their own
