Tbh it's not your problem to take on in that sense, the pressure shouldn't be anywhere near you at all, you're doing good for yourself but you're only 16. If you wanna help that's cool, you do you in regards to where you wanna work. But yeah don't get roped into their dynamic and issues, you do whatever you feel is right, if you wanna spend the money you have then you do that, it's not anyones business and asking him puts you in a position.

You're not going to help her gain financial stability, sometimes people have to figure out themselves and there's nothing to do. Focus on your success, this is harsh but has to be said. You do you.
