How would you feel about being the breadwinner?

Lets say your partner lost their job. Now you are the breadwinner and they also want you to pay their phone bill/ new clothes.

I feel like most people would be okay with this, but Eventually they will resent them and regret being with them in the first place if this goes on for too long.

depends on what your love is based on.. real love or the love that comes from when he is the one to take care of you.. are men and women equal in all things.. if so it would not matter. so you need to talk to him and find out together. what if he works and makes less than you. would you resent it?
myself. if both of you are doing the best you can.. and doing it together it should not matter. times have changed.. best to you both. mark
