How would you feel about being the breadwinner?

Lets say your partner lost their job. Now you are the breadwinner and they also want you to pay their phone bill/ new clothes.

I feel like most people would be okay with this, but Eventually they will resent them and regret being with them in the first place if this goes on for too long.

Honestly yeah it can be hard but I think naturally I always want to be a provider so I would actually be fine with it as long as I make enough money to support us both & we're not struggling. I could make sacrifices at any point if I need to but I'd only see an issue if like, she wasn't helping us both in positive ways. Not money necessarily but at least helping make our lives easier in general
