I wish i had a nice grandmother

I did have a grandmother like that. I wish I could have one more of her loving hugs.

But seriously folks I do greatly miss my grandmothers.
2 women that accepted me just the crazy way that IS me.
They would sit me down when I needed a talking to, but then send me out into this unsuspecting world with hugs and kisses and warm chocolate chip cookies.

I can still hear her words of wisdom in my mind from time to time...

"Boy don't make me go to the switch now and tear your bony lil ass up now. Hear me?!"

I never had one but my friends grandma would setve us tea in thise fine china cups most old ladies only have for display. She would feed us scones and homemade cakrs and always was positive and encouraging. I loved goung there.

My grandma makes amazing food aswell, but she never hugs (she accepts hugs on special occations) and tho she's known for making jokes, she's equal parts annoyed/angry at people/the world

Never even knew either grandmother. One passed away just after I was born and the other was in communist Czechoslovakia so she couldn't contact us. Both grandfather's had passed away before I was born.

I had one that wasn't quite affectionate with hugs but made yummy cakes and was very funny

I miss having that. I lost my grandmother I was super close to a few years back. And my other grandmother is now in the nursing home.

I wish we could adopt grandparents. Mine is 96 and she’s something else. Not in a good way either 😆
