Honestly, also keep in mind that thinking public transit is a good thing is like thinking unions are a good thing. There's an entire generation or two who have been taught both are pointless or too hard to do and just make things worse.
Even though even on a like casual glance the lack of transit in the US and Canada is so insane it can only be an outcome of just fucking stupid ass greed by industry lobbying.
@CountScrofula at this point, all i want is a little pod that you can put a human in and stuff in an artillery gun to get around. i feel like the republicans would be chill with that, too.
