Do your family or friends know you crossdress and what do they think or say about it? Second are you passable ,if not , do you think this is the reason for negative remarks.?

No; family & friends don't know, once you tell someone you can't untell them if they react badly.
My wife knows and doesn't approve but does tolerate it.
I am not passable close at the front but am from a distance and close up from the rear.
I have never had negative remarks in public.
