I love my Grandma
I’ve been wanting to make a post like this for awhile. But my biggest feminist icon is my grandmother. Recently she turned 94 years old.
My grandma didn’t have an easy life. She grew up poor in a village in Greece. The Romani side of her family was discriminated against. When she was young, the Nazi’s invaded Greece and she lost a lot of her family. But even after going through all that, today she still laughs and smiles like anyone else.
Her life is so inspiring to me. My Grandma is a badass and I’m thankful that she is still with us.
