The world’s most expensive nap 😴😴😴😴😴😴😴

My kiddo was up SOOO much last night and was very very grumpy today….

She didn’t want to take a nap and was just too overtired. Trying to get an 8 year old to get in bed at 8am when it’s sunny is neverrr going to happen

Soooo I decided to take her for a drive. She hates her car seat and was so grumpy that she was even more opposed to it than normal and was flipping out. I kept driving and she calmed down…. 45 minutes later she finallllyyyy fell asleep 👍👍👍👍👍👍

I parked at my dads where I can leave her in the car with the door open and sit in the backyard watching her. Too scared to move her 😵😵😵😵😵

I’m out of gas now and filling the car up again is expensive af but desperate times call for desperate desperate measures 😂😂😂😂😂😳😳😳😳😳😴😴😴😴😴

What kind car did you get?
What was your previous vehicle?

I know she's small, how much more to gain before she graduates out the car seat?
Would ”gain 7 pounds and it's gone” help at all as a motivation?

@Valerian Used to have a Fiat, for a Mini now.

Her 1st want is to be in a backless booster, which isn’t going to happen anytime soon. She then said she wants to just use the seat belt instead of be in the harness, in a high-back booster. Technically she could use the seat belt now, by law. But she won’t max out her harness until she gains another 9lbs ish. I wouldn’t worry about it so much but she won’t sit still. She’s been in a seat that uses the seat belt a couple times and she wasn’t sitting properly 80% of the time. The harness keeps her in place. I’ve told her she could switch if she didn’t move so much, but on testing it she still did. So it’s not happening yet.
