Politics Discussions Suck

I absolutely love my Parents... but they can't seem to stop bringing up politics... at times, even to the point of pissing each other off... it's so freaking annoying to visit them and find out they're fighting over something so stupid and something they can't control...

Agreed. My dad and I constantly argued over them, at his insistence to bring them up, and greatly hindered our relationship in his final years.😒

I've blocked all political groups I could think of here. It's too tiresome to deal with anymore.

It's been my mom :( but if anything happens to her, then I think I'll be next... it's like why do you have to bring up this stuff? We can't control it...

And your not trying to get your message out there to the public, whom they MIGHT be able to control it I'm theory with voting...

@MoonlightLullaby My dad keeps hammering his politics points with us... which we can't do anything about the politics.

If he actually wants something done, he should be going public and trying to get people to agree with him and vote the way he suggests, etc.

Of course, I'm thinking he might be in the minority of his own party even right now.

For me, voting is imperitive if one weeks to change anything. I wholeheartedly agree in putting grassroots efforts to work vs senseless arguments. Do something, ffs, is what he needs to do!
