Happy Fathers Day

@SW-User a teacher at my secondary school who tried and largely failed to curb my excesses.
The man I took the piss out of when my mate and I drunk went into the council health tent at a festival. However he said something that lodged with me. "If drink is costing you more than money you might need us". He gave me a card with a helpline number on it. I called that number a month later. The lady I spoke to immediately knew who he was from my description! He and her arrived at my flat that night, took me to my first AA meeting and I've never drunk since.

@KatyO83 You sound like you have lived a little in a way. Something I'm not quite clear upon in here, you were never taken advantage of? Sadly, I, think it's somewhere in there. If you found something that gives you meaning, I'm happy for you.

@SW-User what bollocks are you spouting. No fucker takes advantage of me. The cretin I married thought he could. He learnt his mistake.
