Couldn’t Be Prouder
Last Saturday, I attended the high school commencement ceremony for my youngest nephew, who graduated with honors.
And Friday (yesterday), I attended the college commencement ceremony for the same nephew, who received a diploma for earning an A.A. (two-year) college degree. He was able to accomplish this at the same time he completed his high school coursework through a program called Running Start.
I and other family members couldn’t be prouder of him. What he was able to do would have been a great accomplishment in normal times, but to do so during a pandemic, with its attendant hardships, makes it especially impressive.
Congratulations to my nephew and all 2022 high school and college graduates. Wishing them much happiness and success throughout their lives.
