@proverbs 22.6 lots of truth in this my mother was very ridged in her personal ideals, as well on her thoughts on how to keep a home.
Obviously when I was young I rebelled against much of it ..just because 'finally ' I was an adult and could excersise free will.
However once I had a husband and family of my own. I found I automatically, without even thinking began to implement mums ways and ideas on , how a home & children should be kept clean & cared for.
After all it was second nature because of course I had seen it work and in addition had no other life experience to draw on.
Still because I didnt want my children living on their nerves I loosened things a little , in some cases & a lot in others. But the basic structure on how I rasied remains the same.
The other thing to take from this idea. If you were raised in ways that did not benefit you . You can then can then ' consciously' remove what didnt work.
Meaning a new & greatly version of your childhood for your children.
Afterall ... once grown you know what doesnt work.
