If personal gun ownership was outlawed in the US what other weapon would you use to protect your home and your family ?

With all the headlines about Ukrainians being sitting ducks for the Russians I’d think Americans would be very proud personal protection these days .

@AthrillatheHunt The Ukrainians are not without guns but that's not doing them much good against guided missiles & artillery shells. If attacked, Americans, even with their personal assault weapons, would find it even more difficult to draw a bead on an ICBM.

@Really dude, the question wasn’t how citizens would shoot down missiles, it was how they would protect their family .
My point was with the highlighted Ukraine resistance that Americans would be more sympathetic to personal fire arms ownership .
