No judgment or bullshit talk.

Curious is all.

I'd like to think I'd stay and fight if it came to my door. I was never healthy enough and sort of a pacifist concentious objector type when I was could get drafted military age. As I aged my views towards gun ownership/police/military evolved and while I wouldn't rush to sign up if I were young, if it came to my city I'd be helping the cause in any way I could [collecting relief/med supplies, caregiving orphans or refugees, food lines, molitov bottles for the neighborhood etc].

I want to say step up, I can recall all my mil procedures better now than when I was training on them but there would be hundreds of thousands of people who would actively avoid drafting all of whom are much younger than me and many of whom have barely done a day's work in their lives but would expect people to defend their idle ways of life.
(Yes I am a Socialist and no lazy people aren't automatically Socialist). Why should I step up to defend lazy bastards some of whom would think nothing of mugging me if they felt I was a soft touch?

I can cook, but my fighting days are well over.

Let me rephrase...im not going anywhere. If my home is attacked, i will defend it.

Depends on details and how they'd want to use me. If they want to use my mind, I'd certainly be willing to help.

As for my body, I don't think either side would be excited about that, as I don't think I'm what they're looking for, I got some issues. Not BS, just being honest.
I can do better as something other than a solider. One can support their side in multiple ways. Heck even being a cook. The cook is one of the most loved people cause they feed everyone. And an army marches on it's stomach as the saying goes. Nobody messes with the cook.

I spent 14 years in the military, if I was needed again, I would stand in line like I did when I was younger. I may not agree with everything political going on but I believe in my country and it's culture to get it right eventually.

I would give up immediately. I don't have it in me to fight for anything or anyone (myself included)

I'm not losing one hair follicle for this or any country.
GeniUs · 56-60, M
@sarabi when you say 'this...country', you realise you are just talking about a collective of people many of whom you will at least like.
sarabi · F
@GeniUs I'm not interested in further discussing my comment. Bye
GeniUs · 56-60, M
@sarabi So you don't care for anybody except yourself. Nice one.
