Anyone here a carer for family or loved ones?

I've been caring for my mum and grandad for over 13 years now (was my grandma too but she sadly passed last year) I have gotten some mixed reactions when telling people this even to the point of being teased. Just curious if anyone here has had similar things happen to them or would like to share their story too :)

@Nebula so nice to meet others in similar situations but again I’m sorry for your loss, glad your brother helped out too though my brother lives literally 20 seconds up the road and we barely see him

I've been caring for my mother for most of my life, until her recent passing.

I'm also the carer for my soon to be ex.

How about being ostracized from the whole family because they didn't want to care for or even see their own mother. 😡

Actually took care of both mother and father. Yet my father wasn't their father.
