Shouldn't all kids get to ride the bus?

In this day if all the dangers of child abduction...why are any children walking to school? I pay taxes the same as the parents living 2 miles away. Some of these really cold days are too cold to walk even 3 blocks. What are your thoughts?

I would agree with you but unfortunately, there is a massive shortage of school bus drivers. Not enough to even fill the amount needed now much less add all the kids.
