Shouldn't all kids get to ride the bus?

In this day if all the dangers of child abduction...why are any children walking to school? I pay taxes the same as the parents living 2 miles away. Some of these really cold days are too cold to walk even 3 blocks. What are your thoughts?

I have teens. I take them to school, but it is a hassle trying to drop them off at the exact right time and make it to work on time. Kids disappear all the time. Sex trafficking is at an all time high. Parents of all races love their children.
