How do I get my dad to leave?

I asked my dad to help me move and we went on this road trip to my new living place and he’s still planning on staying here for a whole week. I love my dad but he’s starting to annoy me. All he talks about is politics and he won’t leave me alone. Any time I try to go somewhere to have some alone time because I don’t have a private space in our hotel room, he insists on coming along. Plus I’ll be starting a full time job so it’s not like he’s really going to see me anyway.

just try to make the best of it, & if possible, lock the door & hang out a lot in the bathroom maybe?, or drive to the mall alone every day (did you use your own car to get there or did he drive his Shelby? you can also sneak away to my home for a week, (in USA?) if all else fails?? ... best I can do for ideas atm ....🦉

@NiightOwl we’ll in the hotel room the only separate room is the bathroom and I don’t really want to hang out there all the time. It was my car we used but any time I try to go somewhere he wants to go with
