Well, Exciting For Me Anyways..

I never feel like a 'proper' mum to my new child until I have actually gone out in the big wide world with them.

With my new daughter, Amidala, born the week before Christmas, and me feeling quite tired and weak myself, it's only been today since myself, hubby Mark and Amidala, Suzanne and Samantha could pop out for a short walk (or pushchair around). Our elder two - Miya and Jasmin - we off and busy, and although the weather is pretty blah in the UK at the moment, it didn't matter.

Just, like, an hour around the local park....meeting people walking their dogs etc...plus it helps walk off some of that damn Xmas food and some of that post-baby fat for me.

I feel better...and I feel that I have introduced our daughter to the world.

Sound strange? Oh well, that's just how I am!

Getting my little ones to feed the ducks in the park seemed a big moment or just them recognising another human that wasn't me.

@carolinehugz Indeed! I love to do that with my girls too. I've brought them up vegetarian, as I am and my husband, and to appreciate wild life when we see it....

...and yes, recognising other people will be good!
