My dad was and is a good man and the best dad I could have asked for. He came to a foreign country as a young man with 50 dollars in his pocket and a vision in his heart of a better life for himself. He fulfilled his vision and worked successfully in his profession. He has a great sense of humor and is the bravest and strongest man I know, because he had to endure the much too early death of my mother and his unborn second child, but despite this tragedy he never gave up and was always there for me when I needed him, no matter what he always found a solution, he always supported me, he was caring and watched for days at my bedside when I was sick, he worked nights so he would have time for me during the day, he did everything to make sure I had a good and carefree childhood.
