I don’t fully understand why people say well she’s an old soul, she’s 14-20 years old.

@gdon39 It just means that this person is more mature than their years and usually that they get along with people much older than them as opposed to their own peers.
Normally it also means that they are wise and more settled and know who they are which is something that normally occurs as we grow old.
I was often called an old soul because by the time I was 25 I enjoyed hanging out with grandmas more than my peers sometimes and I was very responsible from a young age.
