Involved Grandparents are such an underrated luxury.

Involved Grandparents are such an underrated luxury. They are so special.

Yes!!!! This is so true. I will never understand why some grandparents don't want a relationship with their grandchildren. If they have an issue with one/both parents, they can still have a relationship with the grandkids. It's just an EXCUSE! Smh

Yeah I was very fortunate that I got the privilege of growing with 4 awesome grandparents who loved me and spent a lot of time with me growing up.

Only now do I see what a wonderful experience that was and how lucky I was to have them. 馃槩

@AthrillatheHunt My first grandparent died in 2002, then one in 2007, then one in 2013, and finally my paternal grandmother died in 2019.

I miss them very much now.

@AthrillatheHunt It was just truly amazing to me what my Thai grandparents had experienced living in bungalows in Phuket and what they had lived through. My (on my Father's side) grandfather had passed away before I was born, but my grandmother was always encouraging me to fulfill my potential and enjoy life to the fullest
