Are you close with your siblings?

What is your relationship with your siblings like? I ask because my sister and I have always been close (we even went on a vacation together earlier this month) while my best friend is estranged from his sister and has been for a few years now. It began over something petty and escalated to the point that they're unable to communicate with each other now. He's essentially lost a family member. I couldn't imagine that happening with me and my sister and hope it never does.
