@Stereoguy It would be a fun way to travel. If I could cook in the van wouldn’t have to worry about not finding a restaurant with food I could eat…

Being homeless must be an absolute nightmare, I cant even imagine it

@Star1 Someone on EP invited a homeless person to live with her. He was giving a sad luck story of his life. She drove to the next state, picked him up in her car & brought him to her apartment. First day was OK, but he got more picky on the food she was cooking & more demanding & complaining. Said he refused to clean up even though she provided him with soap, shampoo, towels, hot water everything he needed. She finally got his duffle bag and told him he was leaving and dropped him off near a shelter. Said she fought bed bugs for the next few months for helping him out.

@cherokeepatti She sounds like a very kind person. I have a similar story from here, the lady took in a young homeless man, her & her husband & family, put him up, gave him what they could & he murdered her for the money she had in her bag.

@Star1 there have been two people murdered here who invited homeless to stay with them. One woman had her head kicked in. And there was a man who was killed by the man he invited in.

@Funlov There’s quite a few here too. A tent camp popped up not far from a food & shelter place. The shelters are full & overflowing, they made a temporary one for the winter too.

@cherokeepatti I actually just dropped off a check this morning to the food shelter for $5000 in my companies name where I live before I came into the city it’s something I strongly donate to every year it’s not a big thing but it’s something I like to do and then I give at Christmas me and my girls go out and buy presents and they wrap them and they donate them to the Santa clause drive we have in town
