I Have Always Had Vivid Dreams With Repetitive Dreams

**I have had a reoccurring dream for about 4 years and each time I wake up with it feeling so real.**

In my dream I walked into my high school. I made my way to an elevator in the school where one of my teacher assistants was their to greet me. We talked for a bi as the elevator went up. When the doors opened, everything was white and I suddenly to have appeared in a black truck, with me seated at the back right (my favourite spot). In the drivers sea was a man about my age at the time (17 years old) with blond hair, icy blue eyes and full black attire (I too was wearing all black). Even though he was a stranger, I did not fear him when he got out of the vehicle for a brief moment to sit in the back with me and discuss about one another.

Laughs were shared when suddenly he told me to be quiet. I was unsure of what was going on. I paid attention to his face, it seemed as if he were listening for something. That was when he told me to get out of the truck and run as fast as I could through the forest. And that was exactly what happened.

The man I was with (who has no name) ran with me through the forest. I had no clue what was going on but I felt tempted to look behind me. I had to know who was chasing us. When I turned my head I saw a man about the same age with dark brown-black hair, very pale skin (almost looked ill) with the matching brown/black eyes (he to was wear full black attire like us). His smile revealed dark intentions that I couldn't believe that someone would even do.

The man chasing us summoned shadow figures to attack us, when suddenly, the man I was running with turned to a different direction away from me. I remember stopping behind a tree, hopefully tricking the chaser. It didn't last long when he was scouting the area, laughing at the chase. I remember him saying,

"I know where you are dear. You cannot hide for long".

His mere presence made the areas snow and the temperature drop. I ran from my hiding spot knowing full well he could spot me.

But on the run I was. The chaser continued his pursuit. It seemed by now that he wasn't even trying anymore, as if this was fun for him.

I got out of the forest and found the man I was running with ahead of me. I was on the side of the forest to my right and a road to my left. I ran to the mans side to help him up from the ground. I looked into his blue eyes and saw fear. Not fear for himself. Fear for me. He urgently told me to run across the road where it would be safe. I walked about half way across the road but my gut told me to turn back and not leave my companion behind.

Just when I was about to grab onto my companions arm he shouted something at me. Possibly "watch out!". I got hit in the back of the head and remember the last moment of seeing our chaser in front of me with his shadowy likes figures surrounding us.

**I use to have this dream all the time for a few years but it did stop. But I remember it so well that it felt like I actually experienced that in the physical world. I have been trying to scrap up ideas of what the dream could me but it is currently unknown to me**

Having vivid dreams is a good thing. You're lucky. I don't often have vivid dreams by nature. Its scientifically proved that one can control their dream world. I can get you various studies, though uou can look them up yourself, too. Just takes a bit of patience and work. But, barely any in contrast to the rewards. Though, I admit, it can be frustrating when you put a lot of work in and still dont succeed.

If you do learn how to lucid dream, then you can just outright ask the man, "why are you afraid for me?" And he'll just tell you. Or any threat that comes to you in your dreams. Once you gain consciousness, all you have to do is ask a dream character--murderous or helpful--what's happening or why they are attacking you.

In addition, you can also stop the dream entirely and just fly off into outer space or eat some rare food or anything you could possibly desire. You're right. When a dream is very vivid, it feels like the physical world. Personally, I'm pretty sure I know exactly what it feels like to be shot in the head. Or abdomen. Or legs. Or stabbed. Or bleeding out. -_-

But, the good things also feel just as good if not better than the physical world.

It's an entire world up for your control. All you have to do is do some learning amd practicing and stick with it. And the sky is not even a limit.

I have heard of lucid dreaming and have done some research on the subject. Lucid dreaming has not been an easy skill for me. I hope to one day do it so I can ask questions to understand what is going on and finally get some questions answered!

@Liv4Life: Have you tried Senses Induced Lucid dreaming? Consistent reality checks? Consistent dream journaling?

It's really such an amazing thing. You also have to avoid frustration and negative thinking. Have to know it's possible and know it will happen. Through trial and error, you can find what works best.

There's also all day awareness, which is easier said than done. As awareness is what makes you become conscious in your dream. Have to truly question whether or not you're dreaming, IRL, then do a conscious reality check. The reality check alone womt get you lucid, but the awareness + reality check will.

Also meditation. Anything to increase your self-awareness.

It's a world of infinite wish fulfillment. You gotta keep trying. Way too good to pass up. :D

@ColdPenguin: I will definitely look into it more and try the various options and see what works best. As you said, it is worthy trying and I shall try and won't give up 😄
