I Have Always Had Vivid Dreams With Repetitive Dreams

I have a recurring about my house. For years, it always involved living with my parents still as if I were stunted by some blockage in my development. The other day something changed. My dad wasn't there. Also, my house. It was more glamorous than previous versions. It had three stories. My bedroom was on the third level and although it was a bit messy, it was very large and full of expensive furniture. My mom was still there however and a nuisance. On the bottom floor she kept painting the walls with cheap unmatching colors and leaving paint on the carpeted floor.

So, the house is definitely me. The mess indicates I still have some inner work to do on myself. The improvement of the house otherwise indicates I'm making progress. My Dad not being there is that he is no longer haunting my psyche. My mom still being there makes sense since I'm stuck taking care of her until I get her into a senior apartment.

I can't wait for the day that my dream house is absent of her.
