I learned a life lesson recently

A broken bone hurts whether you’re a saint or a sinner.
A hurricane destroys homes without checking who “deserved” it.
Death comes for everyone, no matter how kind, cruel, rich, or poor.
These events don’t carry moral weight by themselves. They simply are. We add meaning afterward.

Often times we are trying to search for meaning in our suffering. There is no meaning, there is no reason, it just is.
