Tik-Tok policy changes in effect starting today.

Tik-Tok had been known as an open forum for discussions particularly political. Creator Geohussar had to modify his post on foreign bots using the assassination of Charlie Kirk as their opportunity to cause divisions in the U.S. by creating Left and Right wing posts exacerbating current tension. Note that it looks like the post seems to placate the idea, but if you know Geohussar , the whole post is incredibly “tongue in cheek”.
Is truth now considered politically subversive?

Clearly a form of censorship. I do not know why companies even bother trying to censor, people quickly find ways around it.

@HoeBag I am very certain it was a new stipulation set in by donnie and I do believe that Larry Ellison (Oracle) will soon own it. It will provide an interesting exercise to see how it develops. GeoHussar tried a few posts before this using tongue in cheek so that it was known by his followers!

@Pfuzylogic Not that you need backing, yet I totally agree with you on Oracle.

I know Oracle from nearly it's inception. The darn documentation was in Chinese back then. No English.

@DeWayfarer I know Oracle from when I played with stocks back in the 80s. I had no idea that he worked extensively with the Chinese!

@Pfuzylogic i couldn't read the documentation and had to figure it out on my own. Fortunately I had several experiences with databases on multiple platforms.

This was a decade later. In the 90s.

@DeWayfarer My only real experience on a larger computer was with IBM mainframes using Rexx. I worked at Scitex/Kodak commercial printers where we installed the first color printers using water drop technology. It was great because I got to make a business trip to BNP in France!

@Pfuzylogic sort of similar experience with Image on a HP 3000 mini using MPE OS.
