Today I learned no woman can be a Bhudda , she can become enlightened(arguable by some) but not a Bhudda
And they were close to convince me it's a peaceful loving religion based on equanimity and love. Okay 👌bye

There are different lines of Buddhism. The traditional one believes that. But then there is also Tara, the female Boddhisatvas so there are lines that believe it.
At the end of the day, I believe you can't follow anything blindly because humans had a lot of influence on how these religions are taught. Buddhism has a lot of great teachings that one can absorb, like any other religion.
