Today I learned no woman can be a Bhudda , she can become enlightened(arguable by some) but not a Bhudda
And they were close to convince me it's a peaceful loving religion based on equanimity and love. Okay 👌bye

technically it is not a religion, tho many religious features were added over the centuries. thre re3ally is not process to "become a Bhudda" the closest thing being Bodhisattva, a person committed to becoming enlightened, for the benefit of all.
Th Buddha tayght that enlightenment was for everyone. and broke tradition by including women as part of Buddhism
yet centuries of adaptation have made a religon out of what was a philosophy, one tha di not include the idea of a deity at all.
