Today I learned no woman can be a Bhudda , she can become enlightened(arguable by some) but not a Bhudda

And they were close to convince me it's a peaceful loving religion based on equanimity and love. Okay 👌bye

Do you believe it?

@Unlearn It's not about what I believe.
But about what whole part of the world and nations' ideas are based upon.
Millions growing up with the idea that to attain a higher state of spirits, you need to be a man first (reincarnate as one) and as a woman what you can offer is, being a mother of a Buddha.
When you grow up and they install on you either the "can" and especially the "cannot" ..
I am double cautious about men here now, people's minds, that's it.

@being Eventually what matters is what you believe. There have been enlightened females in the past...

@Unlearn no it's not about me, it's more about the little girl and the little boy that are playing in the neighborhood and the ideas that are pre installed on them.

@being Those little girls and boys will also grow up to be an individual. Now, would they choose to be a pawn of society or find their own path will be up to them...

@Unlearn you are right but it's a huge mountain to climb you know. Telling someone they aren't enough in a way since they're a child, and then expecting to get over it and then judging them throughout the centuries for not making it . Anyways I'd better cool down and prepare for bed.

@being Sure! Goodnight 🙂
